Biography
Paul Cameron (born 30 May 1958) is a Canadian-born American cinematographer and television director. Born in Montreal, he was raised in New York City and studied at the State University of New York at Purchase.
He has worked as director of photography on films including Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000), Swordfish (2001), Man on Fire (2004), Collateral (2004), Déjà Vu (2006), Total Recall (2012), Man on a Ledge (2012) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017). For Collateral, directed by Michael Mann, he shared the BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography with Dion Beebe. He has also served as cinematographer and director on the HBO series Westworld (2016–), for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Cameron is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers (since 2006) and serves on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
