Biography
Paul Trijbits is a Dutch-born film and television producer. Born on 10 October 1961 in the Netherlands, he began his career producing features such as Hardware (1990) and The Young Americans (1993). He was a founder member of the New Producers Alliance and served on the board of PACT.
Between 2000 and 2006 Trijbits was Head of the New Cinema Fund at the UK Film Council. In 2007 he joined Alison Owen’s Ruby Films as managing director. His producer credits there include Jane Eyre (2011) and Tamara Drewe (2010), with executive producer roles on Saving Mr. Banks (2013) and Fish Tank (2009).
He later co-founded FilmWave and has produced Sing Street (2016), Every Day (2018) and Alone in Berlin (2016). He is CEO of Magical Society UK.
