Biography
Peewee Piemonte is a stunt performer, stunt coordinator, second unit director and director. He began his career in stunts after a background in athletics and bodybuilding, and has worked on numerous films and television series since the early 1990s.
His credits include stunt work on The Truman Show (1998), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), The Departed (2006), The Mask (1994), Heat (1995) and The Godfather Part III (1990). He served as safety coordinator on Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006). Piemonte won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for the drama series Southland (2011 and 2012) and received further Emmy nominations for SEAL Team. He is a former vice president and lifetime member of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures. He is married to stuntwoman and coordinator Julie Michaels, with whom he runs JMP Productions Inc. Piemonte has also directed the feature Last Writes.
