Biography
Peter Safran (born 22 November 1965) is a British-American film producer and studio executive. He began his career as a talent manager before founding The Safran Company and moving into production.
Safran has produced films including The Conjuring (2013), Aquaman (2018), Shazam! (2019), The Suicide Squad (2021), Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023), The Nun II (2023) and Superman (2025). He is also a producer on the forthcoming Supergirl (2026) and The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025).
In 2022 Safran was appointed co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios alongside James Gunn.
