Biography
Phil Collinson is a British television producer. He began his career as an actor before working as a script editor and writer on series including Emmerdale, and later became a producer on Peak Practice.
Collinson produced the revived Doctor Who from 2005 to 2008, overseeing series 1 to 4 and associated specials, and later returned as executive producer from 2023. He also produced Gentleman Jack (2019–2022), It's a Sin (2021) and Coronation Street (2010–2013).
Earlier credits include producer roles on Sea of Souls, Born and Bred and Linda Green. He served as Head of Drama at BBC Manchester from 2008 to 2010.
