Biography
Randall Duk Kim (born 24 September 1943) is an American actor of stage, film and television. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he studied at the University of Hawaii and began his career in theatre, becoming a co-founder and artistic director of the American Players Theatre in Wisconsin. He is known for his work in classical repertoire and as an interpreter of plays by Frank Chin; he won an Obie Award and received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination.
In film, Kim is recognised for playing the Keymaker in The Matrix Reloaded (2003), Grandpa Gohan in Dragonball Evolution (2009), and providing the voice of Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda (2008) and Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016). Other credits include Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), The Last Airbender (2010), and the John Wick films (2014 and 2019). He has also appeared in television series such as Fringe (2008). He is married to actress and fellow American Players Theatre co-founder Anne Occhiogrosso.
