Biography
Rebekah Harrison is a Welsh writer based in Manchester. She was part of the 2019/20 BBC Studios Writers Academy and has written episodes for continuing drama series including Casualty (2022–2024), Holby City (2021–2022), EastEnders and Waterloo Road (2024). She has also worked as an associate producer on Casualty.
Harrison grew up in North Wales and began writing for television with an episode of Made in Wales in 2010. Her short Edna’s Bench (BBC Wales, 2010) was nominated for a BAFTA Cymru award. She is a co-founder of Take Back Theatre Collective and has written stage plays including What Does It Take to Slay a Dragon (2025).
