Biography
Richard Hashimoto, also credited as Richard Y. Hashimoto, is a film producer and production manager. He worked as an assistant director on several films in the 1970s before taking production management roles on titles including On Golden Pond (1981), The Breakfast Club (1985) and Howard the Duck (1986). He served as associate producer on WarGames (1983) and later produced Beetlejuice (1988) and Singles (1992), and was executive producer on Edward Scissorhands (1990).
