Biography
Rob Hanning is an American television writer and producer. He joined the writing staff of the NBC sitcom Frasier (1993) in 1997, contributing scripts to 26 episodes and serving as executive story editor and story editor. He later held producing roles on the series, including supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer.
Hanning has written episodes for Malcolm in the Middle (2000), 8 Simple Rules (2002), Castle (2009), Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and The Equalizer (2021). He created the sitcom Courting Alex (2006) and has held producing positions on several of these series. He received Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series for his work as supervising producer and co-executive producer on Frasier.
