Biography
Robert Knepper is an American actor. He was born on 8 July 1959 in Fremont, Ohio, and raised in Maumee. He developed an interest in acting through his mother's work in community theatre props and began performing in local theatre before studying theatre at Northwestern University. He has appeared in more than one hundred professional stage productions.
Knepper is best known for playing Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell in the series Prison Break (2005–2009, 2017). He played the Colonel in the film The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and has appeared in films including Hitman (2007) and Transporter 3 (2008). His other television roles include parts in Heroes, iZombie and the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks.
