Biography
Robert Malcolm Young is a Scottish writer and director. Born on 22 November 1924 in Edinburgh, he began his career in film and television in the early 1960s.
Young wrote the story and teleplay for the Mission: Impossible episode 'The Amnesiac' (1969). His other television credits include episodes of Columbo (1977), The Streets of San Francisco (1973–1977), Kojak, Night Gallery and Trapper John, M.D. He wrote the screenplay for the Disney film Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) and its 1995 television remake. Young also directed the feature Trauma (1962), which he wrote, and worked as a script consultant on series including Then Came Bronson.
