Biography
Ron Dean (also credited as Ronald Charles "Ron" Dean) was an American film and television actor. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on 15 August 1938, he died in Chicago on 5 October 2025.
Dean frequently played detectives and law-enforcement characters. His film credits include Risky Business (1983), The Breakfast Club (1985), Cocktail (1988), The Fugitive (1993) as Detective Kelly, Rudy (1993), The Client (1994), and The Dark Knight (2008). On television he had a recurring role as Detective Marion Zeke Crumb in Early Edition (1996–2000).
