Biography
Sam Claflin is an English actor. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009 and began his screen career in television, with early appearances in series including The Pillars of the Earth (2010) and Any Human Heart (2010).
His first film role was as Philip in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011). He is known for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014) and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), William in Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016), and Will Traynor in Me Before You (2016). Later credits include Mycroft Holmes in Enola Holmes (2020) and Oswald Mosley in the series Peaky Blinders (2019–2022).
