Biography
Sam Troughton is an English actor. He was born on 21 March 1977 in Hampstead, London. He is the son of actor David Troughton and grandson of actor Patrick Troughton.
Troughton has appeared in television series including Robin Hood (2006–2009), Chernobyl (2019) as Alexandr Akimov, The Outlaws (2021), Litvinenko (2022), The Lazarus Project (2022) as Dr. Henry Samson, and Black Doves (2024). His film credits include AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004), The Ritual (2017), Mank (2020) and Napoleon (2023). He has also performed in stage productions at the Royal National Theatre.
