Biography
Sandy Veneziano is an American production designer and art director. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BFA in 1973, an MA in 1975 and an MFA in 1978, later serving as Professor Emerita at the university's Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.
She began her career as a set designer on the television series Dallas and worked as set designer on Stripes (1981) and Terms of Endearment (1983). As art director she contributed to Dead Poets Society (1989), Outrageous Fortune (1987) and episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and as production designer her credits include Father of the Bride (1991), Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), My Favorite Martian (1999) and Blood Done Sign My Name (2010). She received an Academy Award nomination for art direction on Terms of Endearment and also worked on Star Trek: Generations (1994) and the series Gilmore Girls.
