Biography
Sara Hess is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing for the HBO series Deadwood, contributing the second-season episode 'Advances, None Miraculous' in 2005.
From 2005 to 2012, Hess worked on the Fox medical drama House as a writer, story editor, executive story editor and producer, writing 17 episodes. She later wrote for and served as executive producer on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black (2013–2016). Since 2021, she has worked as a writer and executive producer on the HBO series House of the Dragon.
Hess married writer and musician Talia Osteen in 2014.
