Biography
Scot Armstrong is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He grew up in Illinois and trained in improvisational comedy at Chicago's Second City and ImprovOlympic under Del Close, later performing with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
He began his film career in collaboration with director Todd Phillips, co-writing Road Trip (2000) and providing story and screenplay for Old School (2003). Their work together continued on Starsky & Hutch (2004), School for Scoundrels (2006) and The Hangover Part II (2011). Armstrong also wrote The Heartbreak Kid (2007) and Semi-Pro (2008). He wrote and directed the film Search Party (2014) and created the television series Dice (2016).
