Biography
Scott Rosenberg (born 24 April 1963) is an American screenwriter, film producer and actor. He was born in Needham, Massachusetts, and graduated from Boston University in 1985 before earning an MFA from UCLA. While at UCLA he placed third in a screenwriting contest, which led to his first agent. His early break came when producer Joel Silver bought one of his scripts; he also wrote an episode of the television series Tales from the Crypt.
Rosenberg’s screenwriting credits include Con Air (1997), High Fidelity (2000), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), Kangaroo Jack (2003), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), Venom (2018) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). He has also worked as a producer on several films and television series, including the Hulu adaptation of High Fidelity.
