Biography
Jeff Pinkner is an American television and film writer and producer. He was born on 16 November 1964. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1987 and Harvard Law School in 1990.
Pinkner wrote and produced on Alias (2001), serving as executive producer and showrunner in its final season. He worked as a writer and executive producer on Lost (2004), contributing episodes in season three. He co-created and served as co-showrunner on Fringe (2008), writing 26 episodes.
His film credits include screenplays for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), The 5th Wave (2016), The Dark Tower (2017), Venom (2018) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). The Lost writing staff, including Pinkner, received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for Best Dramatic Series in 2007.
