Biography

Matt Tolmach is an American film producer. Born in 1964 in New York City, he is a graduate of Beloit College. His grandfather was the producer and film executive Sam Jaffe.

Tolmach served as co-president of production at Sony Pictures Entertainment alongside Doug Belgrad from 2008 until 2010, overseeing the Spider-Man franchise. He subsequently became an independent producer, working on films including The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Venom (2018), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and its sequel, and several entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man series as executive producer.

His recent credits include Venom: The Last Dance (2024) and Kraven the Hunter (2024). He is married to director Paige Goldberg.
