Biography
Shaun Toub is an Iranian-American actor. He is known for his roles as Yinsen in Iron Man (2008) and Iron Man 3 (2013), Farhad in Crash (2004), and Rahim Khan in The Kite Runner (2007).
Born in Tehran, Iran, to an Iranian Jewish family, Toub moved to Manchester, England, at the age of two. He later lived in Switzerland before completing high school in Nashua, New Hampshire, and graduated from the University of Southern California. He has appeared in numerous television series, including Homeland, Grimm, and Tehran.
Toub received the Cinema Sepharad award at the 2022 Los Angeles Sephardic Film Festival. He resides in Los Angeles.
