Biography
Søren Malling is a Danish actor. He was born on 3 February 1964 in Kjellerup and trained at the acting school of Odense Teater, graduating in 1992.
Malling is known for his roles as Jan Meyer in the series The Killing (2007) and Torben Friis in Borgen (2010–2022). His film credits include A Royal Affair (2012), A Hijacking (2012), A War (2015) and The Promised Land (2023).
He has received the Lauritzen Award (2013) and Robert Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Malling is married to actress Petrine Agger.
