Biography

Steven Brill (born 27 May 1962) is an American actor, director and screenwriter. He graduated from Boston University's film school and began his career with small acting roles and screenwriting work.

Brill wrote the screenplay for The Mighty Ducks (1992) and its sequel D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994). He made his directorial debut with Heavyweights (1995) and later directed Little Nicky (2000), Mr. Deeds (2002), Without a Paddle (2004), Drillbit Taylor (2008), Walk of Shame (2014) and Hubie Halloween (2020).

As an actor, Brill appeared as the Barfly in sex, lies, and videotape (1989) and had cameo roles in the Mighty Ducks films. He was involved in the 2007–2008 Fanboys editing controversy alongside Harvey Weinstein.
