Biography
Steven Maeda is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the late 1990s writing episodes of Harsh Realm before joining the staff of The X-Files (2000–2002) as a writer and story editor.
Maeda later worked as a writer and producer on series including CSI: Miami (2002–2005), Lost (2005–2006), Day Break (2006–2007), Lie to Me (2009), Unforgettable (2011–2012), Helix (2014–2015) and Salvation (2017). The Lost writing staff, including Maeda, received a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Dramatic Series in 2006. He served as executive producer and showrunner on Helix and as co-showrunner and executive producer on the first season of One Piece (2023).
