Biography
Stewart Svaasand is a British director and writer of television drama and feature films. He has directed episodes of series including Vera (2015), Shetland (2014), Wolfblood (2013), Harriet's Army (2014), Jekyll & Hyde (2015), Silent Witness (2017), Death in Paradise (2018–2019), Grantchester (2019), Tin Star (2020), Outlander (2024), All Creatures Great & Small (2022–2025) and Lynley (2025).
His feature film work includes directing and writing One Last Chance (2004). He has received a BAFTA Children's Award for Best Drama for The Dumping Ground and a nomination in the same category for Harriet's Army.
