Biography
Susan Downey is an American film producer. Born Susan Nicole Levin on 6 November 1973 in Schaumburg, Illinois, she began her career at New Line Cinema before joining Joel Silver's Silver Pictures, where she became executive vice president of production and co-president of Dark Castle Entertainment until February 2009.
Her producing credits include Gothika (2003), House of Wax (2005), Sherlock Holmes (2009), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) and Dolittle (2020). She has also served as executive producer on films such as Iron Man 2 (2010), The Book of Eli (2010) and Due Date (2010).
In 2010 she and her husband, actor Robert Downey Jr., founded the production company Team Downey.
