Biography
Dan Lin is a Taiwanese-American film and television producer. He founded the production company Lin Pictures in 2008, later renamed Rideback, and in 2024 became chairman of Netflix Films.
Lin previously worked as a senior executive at Warner Bros. Pictures. His producing credits include Sherlock Holmes (2009), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), The Lego Movie (2014), It (2017), Aladdin (2019), It Chapter Two (2019), Haunted Mansion (2023) and Lilo & Stitch (2025). He holds degrees from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School.
