Biography
Sven-Ole Thorsen is a Danish actor, stuntman, bodybuilder and strongman competitor. Born in Copenhagen on 24 September 1944, he won Denmark's Strongest Man in 1983 and holds titles in power-lifting and karate.
He began his film career in Conan the Barbarian (1982) as Thorgrim, one of Thulsa Doom's henchmen, after being introduced to director John Milius by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Thorsen has appeared in numerous action films, often alongside Schwarzenegger, including Predator (1987), The Running Man (1987), The Hunt for Red October (1990) and Gladiator (2000), as well as performing stunts on many productions.
He received Taurus World Stunt Awards in 2001 for his work on Gladiator.
