Biography
Takeshi Yamamoto (1908–1972) was a Japanese film producer. He is best known for his work with director Yasujirō Ozu, producing Late Spring (1949), Early Summer (1951), The Flavor of Green Tea Over Rice (1952) and Tokyo Story (1953).
Yamamoto also produced other films including A Sun-Tribe Myth from the Bakumatsu Era (1957) and The Warped Ones (1960). His credits span several decades, primarily with Shochiku.
