Biography
Tami Sagher is an American comedy writer, producer and actress. A native of Chicago, she studied mathematics at the University of Chicago before joining Boom Chicago and then Second City for improvisation training.
She has written for television series including 30 Rock (2006), How I Met Your Mother (2005), Psych (2006), Broad City (2014), Inside Amy Schumer and Marry Me (2022). Sagher wrote an episode of the Apple TV+ series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (2026) and served as co-executive producer on it. She has also worked as a writer-producer on Orange Is the New Black and Shrill.
Sagher has appeared as an actress in the film Don't Think Twice (2016) and contributed to the radio programme This American Life. She has received multiple Writers Guild of America Award nominations, including for 30 Rock.
