Biography
Teddy Sears is an American actor. He was born on 6 April 1977 in Washington, D.C., and raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He attended the Landon School and played football at the University of Maryland before transferring to the University of Virginia, from which he graduated with a degree in business management in 1999. After moving to New York, he began acting and secured a contract role on the soap opera One Life to Live.
Sears is known for his television roles as Richard Patrick Woolsley on the TNT series Raising the Bar (2008–2009), Patrick on the first season of American Horror Story (2011), Dr. Austin Langham on Masters of Sex (2013–2016), and Hunter Zolomon / Zoom on The Flash (2015–2016, with later guest appearances). He has also appeared in guest roles on series including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mad Men, Chicago Fire and How to Get Away with Murder, and in the film A Single Man (2009). He married actress Milissa Skoro in 2013.
