Biography
Terry Hodgkinson is a British television writer and former assistant director. He was born in 1942 in Leek, Staffordshire, England.
He began his career in the late 1960s as a second assistant director on feature films including The Railway Children (1970), The Go-Between (1971), Juggernaut (1974) and Julia (1977). From the early 1980s he worked primarily as a writer for British television drama.
His writing credits include nine episodes of Lovejoy (1986–1994), four episodes of All Creatures Great and Small (1988), twenty-one episodes of The Bill (1993–2000) and two episodes of Midsomer Murders (2001–2005), as well as single episodes for series such as Rockliffe's Babies, Call Me Mister, Wish Me Luck, One by One, El C.I.D. and Ballykissangel.
