Biography
Tom DeSanto is an American film producer and screenwriter. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1990 after attending Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison, New Jersey.
DeSanto began his career as co-producer on Apt Pupil (1998) and worked with director Bryan Singer on the X-Men films, receiving story credit and serving as executive producer on X-Men (2000) and executive producer on X2 (2003). He originated the live-action Transformers film series, producing Transformers (2007) and its sequels including Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Bumblebee (2018), Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) and Transformers One (2024).
