Biography
Tracey Seaward is an English film producer. She was educated at Wolfreton School and Hull College, before studying film and cultural studies at Trinity College, Leeds. She received an honorary degree from the University of Hull in 2008.
Seaward has frequently collaborated with director Stephen Frears, producing Dirty Pretty Things (2002), Mrs Henderson Presents (2005), The Queen (2006), Chéri (2009) and Tamara Drewe (2010). She also produced The Constant Gardener (2005), Eastern Promises (2007), Philomena (2013), Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), Victoria & Abdul (2017) and The Two Popes (2019). In 2012 she produced the opening ceremony of the London Summer Olympics.
The Queen (2006) won the BAFTA Award for Best Film, which Seaward shared with the other producers; the film received Academy Award and other nominations. She has received further Academy Award nominations for Philomena (2013).
