Biography
William A. Elliott is an American production designer and art director. He began his career in the mid-1980s, working as an assistant art director before taking on lead roles. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction for his work on The Untouchables (1987).
Elliott has contributed production design or art direction to numerous films, including Rain Man (1988), Hot Shots! (1991), Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), The Nutty Professor (1996) and Doctor Dolittle (1998). Later credits include Scary Movie 3 (2003), Meet the Spartans (2008) and Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013). He is the father of location manager Tyler Elliott.
