Biography
William M. Anderson was a film editor born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He worked extensively with director Peter Weir, editing Gallipoli (1981), Dead Poets Society (1989), Green Card (1990), Fearless (1993) and The Truman Show (1998).
Anderson received a BAFTA nomination for Best Editing for Dead Poets Society. His other credits include 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), Just Cause (1995), Down Periscope (1996), Igby Goes Down (2002) and If Only (2004). He died in Los Angeles in 2022.
