Biography
Win Phelps is a television director. He began his career in the 1970s as a second assistant director on feature films including Logan's Run (1976) and The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), later working as first assistant director on ...And Justice for All (1979), Diner (1982) and Best Friends (1982).
Phelps directed episodes of numerous television series. His credits include one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1988), multiple episodes of L.A. Law (1988–1994), one episode each of Northern Exposure (1993) and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993), and the The X-Files episode 'Red Museum' (1994). He received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for outstanding directing in a drama series for his work on L.A. Law.
