Biography
Wyatt Smith is an American film editor. He began his career in the music industry at Sony Music Studios in New York in the early 1990s, where he edited live concerts, music videos and music-related documentaries.
Smith has frequently collaborated with director Rob Marshall. His credits include Nine (2009), Into the Woods (2014), Mary Poppins Returns (2018), The Little Mermaid (2023) and How to Train Your Dragon (2025). Other notable work includes Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Doctor Strange (2016) and Harriet (2019).
He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Special for the 2006 television special Tony Bennett: An American Classic.
