Biography

Agostino Marangolo is an Italian drummer, composer and session musician. Born on 25 June 1953 in Catania, Sicily, he joined the progressive rock band Goblin in 1974 and remained with the group until 1980.

As a member of Goblin he contributed to the soundtracks of several horror films, including Suspiria (1977), Dawn of the Dead (1978) and The Beyond (1981). He has also worked as a composer on films such as Sleepless (2001) and collaborated with artists including Pino Daniele, Napoli Centrale and numerous other Italian musicians.
