Biography

Fabio Pignatelli is an Italian musician and composer. Born on 30 October 1953 in Rome, he plays bass guitar and has worked extensively as a composer and arranger.

He is best known as a member of the progressive rock band Goblin, which provided the scores for several horror films directed by Dario Argento and others. These include Suspiria (1977), Dawn of the Dead (1978), Tenebrae (1982) and Phenomena (1985). Pignatelli has continued to perform and record under the Goblin name and with Goblin Rebirth.
