Biography
Akie Kotabe is an American actor. Born Akihiro Lawrence Kotabe on 18 July 1980 in Lansing, Michigan, he has appeared in numerous film and television productions since 2005.
His credits include Mr. Yama in The Son (2022), Lone Train Passenger in The Batman (2022), Victim's Brother in Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), Diego in the series Silo (2023), Akira Akiba in Gran Turismo (2023), and roles in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and Jason Bourne (2016). He has also provided voices for animated series including the title character in Boyster and Kyan in Go Jetters.
Kotabe was nominated for Best Actor at the 2020 Madrid International Film Festival for his performance in the neo-noir film Clay's Redemption. He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
