Biography
Alexa Junge is an American television writer, producer and screenwriter. She grew up in Los Angeles and studied at Barnard College before earning an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Junge wrote for Friends from 1994 to 1999, contributing episodes including 'The One Where Everybody Finds Out' and 'The One with the Prom Video'. She later wrote for Sex and the City, The West Wing (including the episodes 'Disaster Relief' and 'Eppur Si Muove' in 2003–2004), Big Love, United States of Tara and Grace and Frankie. Her screen credits also include the screenplay for Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch (2005). She has received Emmy and Writers Guild of America Award nominations for her work on Friends and The West Wing.
Junge is the granddaughter of screenwriter Marvin Borowsky. She has also written for the stage, including the play Fingersmith.
