Biography
Paul Redford is an American television writer and producer. He began his prime-time writing career on the 1995 sitcom Partners and was later hired by Aaron Sorkin as a story editor on Sports Night (1998).
Redford joined the writing staff of The West Wing (1999) in its first season, contributing story and teleplay credits across multiple episodes and advancing to supervising producer. The production team won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2003. His other writing credits include episodes of Suits (2011), Madam Secretary (2014), Designated Survivor (2016) and When Calls the Heart (2014). He has also served as a producer on The Unit (2006) and Journeyman (2007).
