Biography

Anne Dudley is an English composer, keyboardist and conductor. She studied at the Royal College of Music and King's College London, and began her career as a session musician before becoming a founding member of the synth-pop band Art of Noise in 1983.

Dudley has composed scores for numerous films, including The Crying Game (1992) and The Full Monty (1997), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Original Musical or Comedy Score in 1998. Her other film work includes American History X (1998), Elle (2016), Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and Benedetta (2021). She has also scored television series such as Jeeves and Wooster and Poldark, and served as music producer, arranger and additional composer on the 2012 film Les Misérables.
