Biography
Arthur Stuart Hull was an American actor born on 8 May 1878 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He appeared on Broadway from 1913, with roles including in Going Up (1917), The Jazz Singer (1925) and Mima (1928). His film career began in the silent era and continued into the 1940s.
Hull is credited as Mr. Osmond in The Palm Beach Story (1942). He took many uncredited bit parts in major productions, among them an Elderly Admirer in Casablanca (1942), Mr. Randall in It's a Wonderful Life (1946), and roles in Mildred Pierce (1945) and Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936). He died on 28 February 1951 in Los Angeles, California.
