Biography
Ashley McGuire is a British actress. She trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama and has appeared in numerous television and film roles.
She is known for playing Big Mandy in the BBC series This Country, Shakira in Man Down, Bev Slater in EastEnders, and Vicky Houghton in This Is Going to Hurt (2022). Other credits include Lorraine Fletcher in It's a Sin (2021), Matron in Malory Towers (2020–2025), and Death Eater roles in the Harry Potter films (2010–2011). Film work also includes The Gentlemen (2020) and Bridget Jones's Baby (2016).
Her stage appearances include productions at the Royal National Theatre such as Home (2012–2013), Light Shining in Buckinghamshire (2015), Our Country's Good (2015), The Suicide (2016) and Top Girls (2019), as well as Henry IV at the Donmar Warehouse (2014).
