Biography
Batan Silva is a Mexican director, assistant director and producer. Born on 2 February 1964 in Mexico City as Sebastián Gaetano Silva Beard, he began his career in the late 1980s and 1990s working as a first assistant director on feature films including Desperado (1995), Clear and Present Danger (1994) and later projects such as Song to Song (2017).
He has directed episodes of numerous television series, including one episode of The Boys (2020), two episodes of Resident Evil (2022), one episode of The Flight Attendant (2020), episodes of The Sinner, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chicago Fire, Mayans M.C. and S.W.A.T.. Silva has also served as a producer on several projects.
