Biography

Holly Dale is a Canadian film and television director and producer. Born in Toronto in 1953, she began her career in the 1970s making documentaries in collaboration with Janis Cole. Their feature P4W: Prison for Women (1981) won a Genie Award for best theatrical documentary.

Dale has directed episodes of numerous series, including Dexter (2012–2013), Durham County, Transplant, Mary Kills People, Batwoman and Law & Order: Toronto. She has received multiple Canadian Screen Awards for best direction and several Directors Guild of Canada awards.
