Biography
Jose Molina is a television writer and producer born in 1971 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He attended Yale University and began his career writing for series including Firefly (2002) and Dark Angel (2000–2002).
Molina has written episodes for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), for which he received an ALMA Award in 2006, Castle (2009), Grimm (2011), The Vampire Diaries (2009), Marvel's Agent Carter (2015), La Brea (2021) and Legacies (2018). He has also served as co-executive producer on several of these shows. In 2026 he wrote an episode of and acted as co-executive producer on the series The Boroughs.
Molina is a podcaster on the show Children of Tendu.
