Biography
Ben Wheeler is a British cinematographer. He began working in film as a teenager through the Children’s Film Unit in the UK.
He is known for his work as director of photography on the television series The Inbetweeners (2008), the feature films The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014), The Tourist (2022), Criminal Record (2024) and The Jetty (2024).
Wheeler won the British Society of Cinematographers Award for Cinematography in a Television Drama for The Tourist and has received BAFTA and other nominations for his television work.
